How to use Add page numbers
- Choose the PDF file.
- Pick the position, format, first number and size — skip the cover page if you like.
- Click “Add page numbers” and download the numbered PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Can I leave out the cover page?
Yes. Turn on “Skip the first page”. Numbering then starts on page 2 with the first number you choose.
Can I number only some pages?
Yes. Type the pages, for example 3-12, and only those are numbered.
Does it work with rotated pages?
Yes. Numbers are placed upright on every page as you see it, including landscape and rotated pages.
