Frequently asked questions

Will the PDF look exactly like in Word?

No converter outside Word can promise that. This tool reads the content and structure (headings, paragraphs, bold/italic/underline, lists, tables, pictures, links) and lays it out again in a clean, consistent style with the Noto Sans font. Your fonts, colours, text boxes, columns, headers/footers, page breaks, footnotes and comments are not reproduced.

Does it support Hindi and other languages?

Yes for Latin, Greek, Cyrillic and Devanagari (Hindi, Marathi, Nepali) text, which is shaped correctly and stays searchable. Characters from other scripts (for example Chinese or Arabic) are left out, and the result tells you how many.

Can I convert old .doc files?

Only .docx. Open a .doc file in Word or LibreOffice and save it as .docx first.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The conversion runs in your browser.
