What is compared?
The words on each page (removed words are marked red in the original, added words green in the changed file) and the rendered pages pixel by pixel, which also shows changes in images and layout.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
Scans have no text, so only the pixel comparison applies. It shows where the pages differ.
What if the page counts differ?
Pages are compared by number; extra pages are marked as only in one of the files.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Both PDFs are compared in your browser.
